ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. Ms. Gust-Jenson referred to a handout and said they were giving it to the Council so at least the Transportation Subcommittee could attend. She said they needed to know if Council wanted to attend.
2. Ms. Gust-Jenson said there was a letter from Sandy City requesting that the Council meet with them and representatives of the Metropolitan Water Board. She said the whole Council could meet or the subcommittee could meet. Councilmember Saxton asked if Sandy City was for or against additional staff. Ms. Gust-Jenson said they were concerned about the dramatic increase in the Metro Water budget. She said they wanted more eyes and pressure to see if that needs to be reduced. She said the Council could not require the Metro Board to change their budget. Councilmember Christensen said the Council should honor their request to meet. Councilmember Lambert said they should do it by subcommittee. Council Members on the subcommittee are Councilmember Christensen, Councilmember Saxton and Councilmember Jergensen. Councilmember Lambert asked that a response be drafted to Sandy City.
3. Councilmember Lambert said there was a letter from Joe Hatch. He asked Council Members Jergensen or Saxton to draft a response.
