A. Information Needed by Council Staff
1. Due to questions raised by Council Members, the Administration is working on options for funding mechanisms and phasing options for the Leonardo. The Administration has indicated that they would like to coordinate with the Council as early and often as possible, in order to minimize further delays for the Leonardo project getting started. Council Member Love has suggested a subcommittee be formed, and meet with the Administration before the end of the year.
Are Council Member interested in this idea or in joining the subcommittee? Council Members Love, Simonsen and Jergensen would serve on the subcommittee.
2. Board Re-Appointment: Human Rights Commission: The Mayor is recommending that Jennifer Mayer-Glenn be re–appointed to the Human Rights Commission with a term ending December 26, 2011. Ms. Mayer-Glenn was appointed in April to fill a vacancy, because she was appointed for such a short time, will the Council approve her re-appointment without all the paperwork?

1. Could the Council please review the attached Council Policy Manual amendments and provide feedback to the staff. The Council Policy Manual will be updated accordingly and distributed to Council Members and Council Members-elect. The Council wanted to defer to the beginning of the new year.
