RESOLUTION NO. 23 OF 2017
(Approving Commissioner Appointments to Central Wasatch Commission (CWC) Board)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Central Wasatch Commission Interlocal Agreement (“CWC ILA”) additional Commissioners may be appointed to the Board of the Central Wasatch Commission upon approval of the legislative body of each of the Members of the Commission;
WHEREAS, the CWC ILA also provides that Commissioners will be appointed to represent the Wasatch Back and Utah Department of Transportation (“UDOT”); and
WHEREAS, Andy Beerman and Carlos Braceras have been nominated to represent the Wasatch Back and UDOT, respectively, and the City Council has determined that they are qualified to serve as Commissioners of the Central Wasatch Commission;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
That the City Council approves the appointment of Andy Beerman and Carlos Braceras as Commissioners of the Central Wasatch Commission.
