RESOLUTION NO. 18 OF 2013
(Accepting polling locations for the 2013 Salt Lake City primary and general elections)
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake County Clerk, as the election officer for the 2013 primary and general elections of Salt Lake City, Utah (the “City”) has designated polling places for each voting precinct in the City, which designation is attached as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, Section 20A-5-403(1)(b) Utah Code Ann., as amended, requires each election officer to obtain the approval of the Salt Lake City Council (the “City Council”) for those polling places; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to comply with said statutory mandate and to accept and approve the polling locations for the City’s 2013 primary and general elections.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah that those polling locations for the 2013 primary and general elections set forth on Exhibit A are hereby accepted and approved. Exhibit A may be changed as needed without further City Council action. Exhibit A shall be made available for inspection, examination, and copying during business hours at the office of the City Recorder.
