RESOLUTION NO. 769.05 / R-22-2016                                                     May 10, 2016

 

Designation of Executive Director and Chief Administrative Officer

 

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY DESIGNATING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

 

WHEREAS, the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City (“RDA”) is subject to Utah Code 17C, which specifies that the Mayor of Salt Lake City Corporation is the Executive Director of the RDA; and

 

WHEREAS, the currently adopted bylaws for the Board of Directors of the RDA (the “Board”) state that the Mayor is the Chief Administrative Officer and the City employee appointed to manage the day-to-day operations of the RDA is the Executive Director; and

 

WHEREAS, the Board desires to clarify that notwithstanding the current language in the bylaws, the Mayor is the RDAs Executive Director and the City employee tasked with managing the day-to-day affairs of the RDA is the Chief Administrative Officer.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF SALT LAKE CITY, that the Mayor is the RDA’s Executive Director and the City employee tasked with managing the RDA’s day-to-day affairs is the Chief Administrative Officer.
