PLNBOA2011-00715 Parsons Carport Variance – A request by Bliss and Veronica Parsons for a variance to legalize a portion of a carport that was constructed without permits and construct an additional carport on the property located at 222 N “L” Street.  The existing carport does not comply with setback, size and lot coverage regulations.  The proposed carport exceeds the maximum building coverage allowed and is closer to the side property line than what is allowed. The subject property is located in the SR-1A (Special Development Pattern District) zoning district and the Avenues Historic District in City Council District 3 represented by Stan Penfold. The subject property is located in the R-1/5,000 (Single Family Residential) zoning district in City Council District 5 represented by Jill Remington Love.
