Liberty Gateway Administrative Interpretation Appeal at 50 S 500 West – Scot Safford, representing Cowboy Partners, is requesting an Appeal of an Administrative Interpretation that was rendered on January 17, 2014. The Applicant was seeking the interpretation that a proposed sign located at the above listed property at the entry of their new multi-family residential development, Liberty Gateway Apartments, is not a pole sign. Pole signs are not a permitted sign type in the GMU zoning district except when authorized by specific exceptions. Liberty Gateway is located in the GMU Gateway Mixed-Use District located in Council District 4, represented by Luke Garrott.
