PLNAPP2012-00859 Jelm Appeal- An appeal by George Kristian Jelm of a decision by the City Zoning Administrator to regulate skateboard ramps as a "swimming pool, tennis court, game court or similar use" which would require that the ramp have a setback of ten feet from the rear property line. Mr. Jelm states that skateboard ramps should be regulated as "recreational equipment" which requires no setback from the rear property line. The subject property is located at approximately 2018 South 1700 East in the R-1-7000 (Single Family Residential) zoning district and is located in Council District 6, represented by Charlie Luke.
