Advantage Rent-A-Car Determination of Nonconforming Use Modification - A determination by the Appeals Hearing Officer as to whether the existing nonconforming taxi facility at approximately 2375 West North Temple Street can change to an automobile rental agency. The taxi facility was considered a nonconforming use when it began operations in 2012. Since then, the zoning text related to nonconforming uses has changed so that neither a taxi facility nor automobile rental facility is permitted. The zoning ordinance allows one nonconforming use to change to another nonconforming use if the businesses are similar in nature.
