SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 6 of 2012

 

         (Amending the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule to add dog breeder fees)

 

     AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALT LAKE CITY CONSOLIDATED FEE SCHEDULE TO ADD DOG BREEDER FEES.

     WHEREAS, on May 17, 2011 the City Council adopted Ordinances 2011-23, 2011-24 and 2011-25 to authorize and create the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule; and

     WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule is proposed to be amended to add dog breeder fees as shown in the attached Exhibit “A”; and

     WHEREAS, the City Council finds (i) the fees set forth in Exhibit “A” are necessary, reasonable, and equitable in relation to regulatory and service costs incurred by the City; and (ii) adoption of this ordinance reasonably furthers the health, safety, and general welfare of the citizens of Salt Lake City.

     NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:    SECTION 1.  The Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be, and hereby is, amended, in pertinent part, to reflect the fees set forth in the attached Exhibit “A” relating to dog breeder fees.

     SECTION 2. The official copy of the Salt Lake City Consolidated Fee Schedule shall be revised to include the fees set forth in the attached Exhibit “A” and a copy of thereof shall be published on the official Salt Lake City website.

     SECTION 3.  This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.

     Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah this 7th day of February, 2012.
