SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 39 of 2018
(Amending the zoning map pertaining one parcel located at 744 West Jackson Avenue
to rezone a portion of that parcel from SR-1 Special Development Pattern Residential District to
TSA-UN-T Transit Station Area District (Urban Neighborhood Transition))
An ordinance amending the zoning map pertaining to one split-zoned parcel located at 744 West Jackson Avenue from SR-1 Special Development Pattern Residential District to TSA-UN-T Transit Station Area District (Urban Neighborhood Transition) pursuant to Petition No. PLNPCM2017-00709.
WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Planning Commission held a public hearing on December 13, 2017 on an application submitted by Rod and Jeri Olsen (“Applicants”) to amend the city’s zoning map to re-zone a portion of the property located at 744 West Jackson Avenue (the “Property”) from SR-1 Special Development Pattern Residential District to TSA-UN-T Transit Station Area District (Urban Neighborhood Transition) pursuant to Petition No. PLNPCM2017-00709; and
WHEREAS, at its December 13, 2017 meeting, the planning commission voted in favor of forwarding a positive recommendation to the Salt Lake City Council on said application; and
WHEREAS, after a public hearing on this matter the city council has determined that adopting this ordinance is in the city’s best interests.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. Amending the Zoning Map. The Salt Lake City zoning map, as adopted by the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries and zoning districts, shall be and hereby is amended to rezone a portion of the Property located at 744 West Jackson Avenue (Tax ID No. 08-35-476-042), and more particularly described on Exhibit “A” and Exhibit “B” attached hereto, from SR-1 Special Development Pattern Residential District to TSA-UN-T Transit Station Area District (Urban Neighborhood Transition).
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.
