SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 87 of 1995
(Rezoning several parcels located throughout the City)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 21A-11-2 OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE RELATING TO ZONING AND FIXING OF BOUNDARIES OF ZONING DISTRICTS.
WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 26 of 1995, the City Council adopted Title 21A, and, with it, the Zoning Map for the City; and
WHEREAS, the City intended to fine-tune the provisions of the Zoning Map after having experience with the actual implementation of the Zoning Map; and
WHEREAS, in response to its own initiative, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing and demographic details of the area and the Master Plan as part of its deliberation. Pursuant to these deliberations, the Council has concluded that the proposed changes of zoning for the various properties located throughout the City are appropriate for the development of the community in these areas; and
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby adopts the following amendments to the Zoning Map provisions of Title 21A.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City. Utah:
SECTION 1. That the Zoning Map, as adopted by Section 21A.11.2 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries of Zoning Districts, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to read as follows:
Sec. 21A.11.2 ZONING MAP.
That the parcels of real property described in Exhibit “A” in Salt Lake City, Utah which are presently zoned as specified in Exhibit “A” are hereby rezoned as also specified in Exhibit “A” and the Zoning Map is amended accordingly.
Section 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon the date of its being first published and recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
