SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 78 of 1995

 

(Vacating a portion of the Highland Park Plat “D” Subdivision Pursuant to Petition No. 400-95-34)

AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE VACATION OF A PORTION OF THE HIGHLAND PARK PLAT “D” SUBDIVISION, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 10-9-808, UTAH CODE ANNOTATED, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-95-34.

WHEREAS, Petition No. 400-95-34 was filed with the City, requesting the City to allow the vacation of a portion of the Highland Park Plat “D” Subdivision; and

WHEREAS, one hundred percent of the owners of the property within and adjacent to the subdivision have consented to the vacation; and

WHEREAS, good cause exists for the vacation of the plat and the City Council finds neither the public nor any person will be materially injured by the proposed vacation;

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

SECTION 1. The City hereby approves the proposed vacation of a portion of the Highland Park Plat “D” Subdivision as conditionally approved by the Planning Commission on June 22, 1995:

Lots 7 through 14 of Highland Park Plat “ID”, a subdivision of part of Lots 1 and 2, Block 46, Ten Acre Plat “A”, Big Field Survey, located in the East half of the Southeast Quarter of Section 20, T1S, R1E, SLBM, together with an alley which was previously vacated.

 

SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon the date of its being first published and recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
