(Renaming the north/south road east of Interstate 15 between 600 North and 2300 North to Warm Springs Road pursuant to Petition No. 400-93-11)
AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY SECTION 14.08.010, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RENAMING THE NORTH/SOUTH FRONTAGE ROAD EAST OF INTERSTATE 15 BETWEEN 600 NORTH AND 2300 NORTH TO WARM SPRINGS ROAD PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-93-11.
WHEREAS, in response to Petition No. 400-93-11, the City has determined that it would be in the best interests of the City to rename the north/south frontage road east of Interstate 15 between 600 North and 2300 North to Warm Springs Road.
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby adopts the following amendment to the official Street Map adopted by Section 14.08.010 of the Salt Lake City Code.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the official Street Map, as adopted by Section 14.08.010 of the Salt Lake City Code, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to change the legal name of the north/south frontage road east of Interstate 15 between 600 North and 2300 North to Warm Springs Road effective July 5, 1995. Until such date the new name of Warm Springs Road shall be honorary only.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
