SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 4 of 1995
(Amending Section 12.08.030 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to Investigation of traffic accidents)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 12.08.030, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RELATING TO INVESTIGATION OF TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 12.08.030 of the Salt Lake City Code, Traffic accidents--Investigation, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
12.08.030 Traffic accidents--Investigation.
The police department, may investigate traffic accidents and may arrest and assist in the prosecution of those persons charged with the violation of law causing or contributing to such accidents.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 17th day of January, 1995.
