(Payment of Fee by Ground Transportation Vehicles)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 16.60.130, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RELATING TO PAYMENT OF FEE BY GROUND TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That Section 16.60.130, Salt Lake City Code, be, and the same hereby is, amended to read as follows:
16.60.130 Payment of Fee by Ground Transportation Vehicles
A. Payment of the required fee shall be made in the manner prescribed by the director of airports.
B. All taxicabs which are licensed under Title 5, Chapter 72 of this Code or its successor shall possess a taximeter which is compatible for use with the ground transportation system operated by the airport.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its first publication hereof.
