SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 18 of 1994
(Renaming Eddy Rickenbacker Drive to 5600 West Street pursuant to Petition No. 400-94-13)
AN AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP ADOPTED BY SECTION 14.08.010, SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RENAMING EDDY RICKENBACKER DRIVE TO 5600 WEST STREET PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-94-13.
WHEREAS, in response to Petition No. 400-94-13, the City has determined that it would be in the best interests of the Cit to rename Eddy Rickenbacker Drive to 5600 West Street;
THEREFORE, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah hereby adopts the following amendment to the official Street Map adopted by Section 14.08.010 of the Salt Lake City Code.
Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. That the official Street Map, as adopted by Section 14.08.010 of the Salt Lake City Code, be, and the same hereby is, AMENDED to change the legal name of Eddy Rickenbacker Drive to 5600 West Street. Eddy Rickenbacker Drive may remain as an honorary name.
SECTION 2. EFFECTIVE DATE. This ordinance shall become effective upon the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 5th day of April, 1994.
