The following summary of actions by the Historic Landmark Commission is being provided to you for information purposes only. No action by the Administration or Council is required at this time.
PETITION 470-07-21 — Trolley Square Major Alteration — A request by Trolley Square Associates, represented by Mulvanny G2 Architects, for an alteration to a previously approved proposal for new construction of a building located at 602 East 500 South in the Central City Historic District. The applicants are proposing exterior changes to Building C (Whole Foods building). The property is located in City Council District 4, represented by Luke Garrott (Staff: Nick Norris at 535-6173 or nick.norris@slcgov.com)
Decision: The Commission approved the request for an alteration with additional conditions.

PETITION PLNHLC2008-00620 — Caitlin Ritchey, New Construction (garage) — A request by Caitlin and James Ritchey, owners, for construction of a new detached garage at approximately 144 Apricot Avenue in the Capitol Hill Historic District. As part of the request, the applicant is requesting the Historic Landmark Commission modify the maximum height regulation of 14 feet for gable roof structures to allow the garage to be approximately 17 feet 6 inches at its highest point. The property is zoned SR-1A, Special Development Pattern Residential District and is located in City Council District 3, represented by Council Member Eric Jergensen. The property is zoned SR-1A, Special Development Pattern Residential District and is located in City Council District 4, represented by Council Member Luke Garrott.
