The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in Special Formal Session on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 2:12 p.m. in Room 326, Committee Room, City County Building, 451 South State.
The following Council Members were present:

The following Council Members were absent:

Jennifer Bruno, Council Executive Deputy Director; Patrick Leary, Mayor’s Chief of Staff; Margaret Plane, City Attorney; and Scott Crandall, Deputy City Recorder; were present.
Councilmember Rogers presided at and conducted the meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
#1. 2:12:43 PM Adopting a resolution supporting the Cities for Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) and the passage of local resolutions and ordinances to implement CEDAW principles. View Attachment
Councilmember Adams moved and Councilmember Mendenhall seconded to adopt Resolution 9 of 2016, which motion carried, all members present voted aye.
