The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in an electronic Special Limited Formal Session on Thursday, June 4, 2020 pursuant to Salt Lake City Emergency Proclamation No. 2 of 2020 (2)(b).

 

     The following Council Members participated electronically:

Darin Mano

 

Cindy Gust-Jenson, Council Executive Director; Rachel Otto, Mayor’s Chief of Staff; Katherine Lewis, City Attorney; Cindy Lou Trishman, City Recorder; and Scott Crandall, Deputy City Recorder participated electronically.

 

     Councilmember Wharton presided at and conducted the meeting.

 

The meeting was called to order at 3:34 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS

 

     #1.  3:35:06 PM Adopting a resolution extending the Mayor’s March 10 proclamation declaring a local emergency relating to COVID-19 (coronavirus). The Council’s most recent extension of the local emergency relating to COVID-19 terminates June 6, 2020 and the proposed extension would be until July 10, 2020. View Attachment

 

Councilmember Johnston moved and Councilmember Mano seconded to adopt Resolution 16 of 2020, extending a proclamation declaring a local emergency relating to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, which motion carried, all members voted aye (roll call).
