The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in Regular Session on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 2:40 p.m. in Room 326, Committee Room, City County Building, 451 South State.

Councilmember Luke presided at and conducted the meeting.
POTENTIAL ACTION ITEMS
#1: 2:41:05 PM Adopting ordinances that would amend the rate of tax levy, for the General Fund and General Obligation Bonds, as adjusted by Salt Lake County on or about June 17, 2014, including the levy for the Library Fund, upon all real and personal property within Salt Lake City made taxable by law for Fiscal Year 2014-2015.

Councilmember LaMalfa moved and Councilmember Garrott seconded to adopt Ordinance 43 of 2014 and Ordinance 44 of 2014 amending the rate of tax levy for the general fund and general obligation bonds, as adjusted by Salt Lake County on June 17, 2014, upon all real and personal property as follows:
•a rate of .0003787 for the General Fund, generating $65,509,523 in ongoing revenue;
•a rate of .001067 for General Obligation Bonds, generating $18,457,529 in ongoing revenue; and
•that $11,180 budgetary difference in the General Fund be accounted for by appropriating funds from the General Fund balance.

Councilmember Luke called for the question, which motion carried, all members present voted aye.
