The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in Regular Session on Thursday, October 30, 1997, at 5:30 p.m. in Room 315, City Council Office, City County Building, 451 South State.
The following Council Members were present:

Mayor Deedee Corradini; Cindy Gust-Jenson, Executive Council Director; Chris Bramhall, Assistant City Attorney; and Scott Crandall, Deputy City Recorder were present.
Councilmember Seed presided at and conducted the meeting.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
#1. RE: Adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City and Utah Department of Transportation setting forth the terms of an agreement whereby the Utah Department of Transportation agrees to exercise Option B with Wasatch Constructors in order to shorten the viaducts at 400 South, 500 South, and 600 South.
ACTION: Councilmember Christensen moved and Councilmember Jolley seconded to refer the item to Committee of the Whole, which motion carried, all members voted aye.
Councilmember Jolly moved and Councilmember Martinez seconded to adopt Resolution 65 of 1997, which motion carried, all members voted aye, except Councilmember Mark who voted nay and Councilmember Godfrey who was absent for the vote.
