The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in Regular Session on Thursday, July 10, 1997, at 5:32 p.m. in Room 325, City Council Office, City County Building, 451 South State.
The following Council Members were present:

The following Councilmember was absent:
Deeda Seed
Russell Weeks, Council Public Policy Analyst; and Chris Meeker, Chief Deputy City Recorder were present.
Councilmember Jolley presided at and conducted the meeting.
NEW BUSINESS
#1. RE: Adopting a resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute a loan agreement and related loan documents with Jackson Property Management LLC, for a $75,000 loan from Salt Lake City's Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund.
ACTION: Councilmember Christensen moved and Councilmember Godfrey seconded to suspend the rules and approve Resolution 40 of 1997, which motion carried, all members present voted aye except Councilmember Milner who voted nay.
DISCUSSION: Councilmember Milner said she could not support the resolution because the Community Council in the area which the City Cab Company was moving had not been notified or given a chance to speak.
