C. NEW COUNCIL BUSINESS
1. Consider and adopt an ordinance repealing Chapter 3 of Title 27 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Shade Tree Commission.

Consider and approve the appointments of Randy Dixon (Capitol Hill Neighborhood Historic District), Brad Rich (Exchange Place Historic District), Mary Elean Sloan (Exchange Place Historic District), Ranch Kimball (Utah Heritage Foundation), and the reappointments of Tom Sieg (Representative-at-Large), and Henry Whiteside (Avenues Historic District), to the Historical Landmarks Committee.

D. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Consider and adopt a resolution to create Salt Lake City, Utah, Curb and Gutter Extension No. 38-763, and to authorize construction of improvements as set forth in the Notice of Intention and to create the Special Improvement District, and authorize the City to proceed with an agreement with UDOT for right-of-way acquisition of the California Avenue and I-215 Interchange. (Relating to the Westside Improvement District, California Avenue, Indiana Avenue, etc.)

2. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, October 9, 1984, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Petition No. 400-144 submitted by Norman Fife requesting vacation of an alley system located between Stringham and Ashton Avenues and west of 1300 East Street.

3. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, September 11, 1984 at 7:00 p.m. to discuss the issuance of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds in the amount of $10,000,000 to assist Devereaux Partners in financing the purchase of Floors 3, 4, and all or a portion of 5 of a condominium office and commercial retail building referred to as 3 Triad Center, North Plaza Terrace, located on Block 84 in Traid Center, Salt Lake City, Utah, together with the parking areas related to the portion of 3 Triad Center being acquired by Devereaux Partners, it being anticipated that Devereaux Partners will lease the property to the State of Utah and possibly to one or more additional tenants.

4. Consider and adopt an ordinance closing a portion of the City’s prescriptive easement in a dirt road running north from Tomahawk Drive (590 North) at approximately 1393 East in Salt Lake City, Utah, as requested by Donald A. Mackey in Petition No. 400-181.

1. Consider and adopt an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 60 of 1983 to close a portion of 200 North by extending the deadline to November 6, 1984.

F. PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 6:00 p.m. - Consider and adopt a resolution approving the issuance and sale by the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City of the Authority’s Multifamily Housing Revenue Bonds in the aggregate principal amount not to exceed $7,000,000 to finance the acquisition and construction of a multifamily rental housing project to be owned by a joint venture comprised of Western Devcor, an Arizona Corporation, and Ponderosa Construction, Inc., a Nevada Corporation, or their designee.
