1. That the City Council convene as the Board of Canvassers and instruct the City Recorder to begin the canvass of the municipal election returns for the election held Tuesday, November 8, 1983; and set a date on Tuesday, November 15 to reconvene as the Board of Canvassers to determine that the statement prepared from the abstract of votes is correct and sign a certification which will determine which candidates received the greatest number of votes and, therefore, are elected.
