2. The Council will receive an Olympic update from the Administration. (Estimated time: 10 minutes)
3. The Council will receive a briefing regarding a proposed ordinance relating to the prohibition of the outdoor use of herbicides, pesticides and fertilizers in watershed areas without a permit, and establishing criteria for the issuance of permits. (Estimated time: 5 minutes)
4. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor's Recommended Budget for Management Services for fiscal year 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. (Estimated time: 15 minutes)
5. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor's Recommended Budget for the City Attorney's Office, Governmental Immunity fund and Insurance and Risk fund for fiscal year 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. (Estimated time: 10 minutes)
6. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor's Recommended Budget for the Compensation Plans/Union Contracts for fiscal year 2001-2002 and 2002-2003. (Estimated time: 10 minutes)

G. CONSENT:
1. Set date – Tax Shift
Set date of June 12, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. to accept public
comment regarding the shift of property tax revenues from Salt Lake County to
Salt Lake City in the amount of approximately $1,276,000. This tax shift
will require Salt Lake County to reduce its certified tax rate and Salt Lake
City may increase its certified tax rate by a corresponding amount. This
tax shift will not result in a tax increase to Salt Lake City taxpayers.

2. Ordinance: Set date – Petition No. 400-01-19
- Closure of 400 South 1000 East
Set
date of June 12, 2001 at 6:00 p.m. to accept public comment and consider
adopting an ordinance closing the intersection of 400 South Street and 1000 East
Street, to separate vehicle travel between the City street intersection and
Highway Route 186 (UDOT 400 South Street).
