C. NEW COUNCIL BUSINESS
1. Consider and adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County for water from a well to be drilled at Siesta Drive and approximately 1725 East 7500 South in exchange for water from within the City’s system.

2. Consider and adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County providing for fire and rescue agreement generally by the City for Salt Lake County.

D. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Consider and adopt a resolution in support of the state’s congressional delegation’s bill to designate the Twin Peaks and Mt. Olympus areas as wilderness with the same provisions as the Lone Peak Wilderness Area regarding watershed protection, sanitation facilities, and forest fire suppression.

2. Consider and adopt a resolution authorizing and approving the issuance and sale by Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah of its Industrial Development Revenue Refunding Bonds, Series 1984 (Samuel A. Hardage Project) in the aggregate principal amount of $7,965,000, the execution and delivery of documents and instruments in connection therewith and related matters.

3. Consider and adopt a resolution amending Resolution No. 79 of 1983 authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County confirming the City and County Health Department as the City’s local health department, pursuant to state law.

1. Consider and adopt a Resolution of the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, creating and establishing a Special Service District for garbage pickup in alleys within the Federal Heights Area within Salt Lake City; describing the boundaries and duration thereof, naming the said district, authorizing and specifying the services to be provided, setting forth the powers, duties and authority, designating and appointing the governing authority, providing for the method or methods of payment for the services to be furnished and prescribing other matters and details relating to the establishment, operations and functions thereof.

2. Consider and adopt an ordinance rescinding Ordinance No. 13 of 1984 vacating a public alley located within the Waterloo Addition Subdivision, said alley being 13 feet wide and running north from Bryan Avenue to Kensington Avenue between 300 and 400 East Streets in Salt Lake City and setting a date for a public hearing for Tuesday, May 8, 1984 at 6:15 p.m. to reconsider Petition No. 400-106 of 1983 submitted by Ray Marler, et al.

F. PUBLIC HEARINGS
1. 6:15 p.m. - Consider and discuss Petition No. 400-101 submitted by Kay Freckleton et al., requesting the vacation of an alley located in the Evans Addition to Poplar Grove Sudivision, said alley being 15 feet wide and running east/west between Cheyenne and Montgomery Streets, directly north of, and parallel to 800 South Street, and adopt the ordinance relating thereto.

2. 6:30 p.m. - Consider and discuss Petition No. 400-157 submitted by Hito International requesting that property located between 500 South and 600 South and between Emery Street and the Jordan River be rezoned from a Residential “R-2” and “R-4” classification to an “R-2A” classification.

3. 6:45 p.m. - Consider and discuss Petition No. 400-167 submitted by Intermountain Health Care, Inc. and The Boyer Company, requesting the closure of a 16.5 foot wide alley located within the North End Subdivision in Block 122 between 8th and 9th Avenues and “D” and “E” Streets in Salt Lake City, and adopt the ordinance relating thereto.
