The Council will receive a briefing regarding the executive employee severance
legal opinion. The Council may also discuss the Mayor's recommended

Extending deadline for rezoning of property located at 1071 South West Temple
Street, Petition 400-99-5 (Request from Salt Lake City Housing
Authority)
Consider adopting an ordinance extending the deadline for
satisfying the conditions for the rezoning of property located at 1071 South
West Temple Street from Commercial Corridor (CC) to Residential Mixed Use
(RMU).

Development Department to amend the Sign Ordinance to allow wall signs (painted

comment and consider adopting an ordinance amending Salt Lake City sign

recommended by the Salt Lake Valley Solid Waste Management Council).

1. Ordinance: Set date - Judgment Levy (Tax Commission ruling on centrally assessed property tax valuations on Delta Airlines property for the years 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999)
Set date of June 15, 2000 at 6:00 p.m. to accept public
comment and consider adopting an ordinance adopting the rate of tax levy upon
all real and personal property within Salt Lake City made taxable by law for the
fiscal year commencing July 1, 2000 and ending June 30, 2001 (including a
judgment levy).

1. Protest
Hearing - Resolution: Salt Lake City Special Improvement District Number
101011, East Liberty Park Concrete Replacement (The district is bounded by 700
East, 900 South, 1300 South and 900 East, and includes installation of concrete
sidewalks, sidewalk access ramps, driveways, curbs, gutters and drainage
facilities.)
Accept public comment and hear protests concerning the
proposed creation of Special Improvement District No. 101011 and the proposed
construction of improvements by the District in an area bounded on the north by
the south side of 900 South; on the south by the north side of 1300 South; on
the east by the east side of 900 East and on the west by the east side of 700
East.

Budget Hearings: The Council will accept public comment on the City's
2000-2001 budget including, but not limited to, the following

vehicle involved in an accident for first response rescue services provided by
the City). Note: The City Council has taken a straw poll and a
majority has expressed opposition to this ordinance.
