E. NEW COUNCIL BUSINESS
1. Consider and adopt an ordinance amending Chapter 4 of Title 51 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by adopting a temporary regulation relating to the imposition of a moratorium. The moratorium shall preclude issuance of building or demolition permits and acceptance of plans involving construction or development within the Mountain Bell/Curtis School site, 1450 South 2200 East, Salt Lake City, Utah. The moratorium is for the purpose of preserving the status quo pending Council review and action on Petition No. 400-348 submitted on July 8, 1985 by Mary Lou Day for the Bonneville Hills Neighborhood Council which requests rezoning of the Mountain Bell/ Curtis School site, 1450 South 2200 East, from a business “B-3” classification to a Residential “R-2” classification. The moratorium shall expire in six months or at such sooner time as the Council acts upon said petition.

The moratorium shall preclude issuance of building or demolition permits and acceptance of plans involving construction or development within the Mountain Bell/Curtis School site, 1450 South 2200 East, Salt Lake City, Utah.
