1. Report of the Executive Director, including review of Council information items and announcements.

2. The Council will interview Rosalind (Roz) McGee prior to consideration of her reappointment to the Library Board.

3. The Council will receive information from Jane Willie of the Salt Lake City School District regarding the "Community of Caring" partnership between the City and the School District and the “Community of Caring 101” workshop on August 5, 2004. (6:00 p.m.)

4. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the grant agreement extension to Utah MicroEnterprise Loan Fund.

5. The Council will receive a briefing regarding a request to amend the zoning map by changing the designation of 2157 South Lincoln Street from Moderate Density Multi-Family to Residential Business. (Petition No. 400-03-36)

6. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the ordinance adopting the Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan.

7. The Council will hold a discussion regarding the ordinance pertaining to sidewalk entertainers and artists.

a. Ordinance: Petition No. 400-03-27, rezone properties located at 1182 and 1184 East Blaine Avenue from Single-Family Residential to Institutional and amend the Sugar House Master Plan

Accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance rezoning properties located at 1182 and 1184 East Blaine Avenue from Single-Family Residential (R-1-5000) to Institutional (I) and amend the Sugar House Master Plan, pursuant to Petition No. 400-03-27.

5. Ordinance: Set date - Petition No. 400-99-49, amend Chapter 21A.24 of the Salt Lake City Zoning Code

Set the date of August 10, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance to amend Chapter 21A.24 of the Salt Lake City Zoning code regarding residential mixed-use districts and other related changes, pursuant to Petition No. 400-99-49 to create two zoning districts RMU-35 and RMU-45 to encourage residential development while allowing for a variety of non-residential support services.
