1. Review easement with Mountain Fuel Supply Company and Salt Lake Airport Authority to consider waiver of notice requirements as provided for In Salt Lake City Surplus Property Ordinance, Section 33-1-6 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965.

D. CONSENT AGENDA
1. Set a date for a non-advertised public hearing on Tuesday, July 17, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss Petition No. 400-175 submitted by Gary Guest, et al., requesting vacation of the east half of an alley which runs east-west between 1800 East and Melbourne Street parallel to Stratford Avenue.

2. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 7, 1984 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss Petition No. 400-191 submitted by Lancom, Inc. requesting that Dresden Place be vacated, that Parcel 34 be deeded to Vantage Corporation, and that the Salt Lake and Jordan Irrigation Canal be relocated.

3. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 7, 1984 at 6:15 p.m. to discuss Petition No. 400-53 submitted by M. Carl Larsen requesting that property located on the southwest corner of 800 South and West Temple be rezoned from the present “R-6” and B-3” to “C-3a”.

4. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 1984 at 6:10 p.m. for public comment concerning the issuance of $1,000,000 of Industrial Revenue Bonds for Hazel Investment Co. for the construction of a warehouse-office building facility at approximately 1657 South 700 West.

5. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 1984 at 7:15 p.m. to discuss amending Section 20-25-6 by adding a new Chapter 39 relating to regulations applicable to newsracks, and by amending Section 51-21-1 relating to permitted uses in Business “B-3” districts by adding a new Section 12 relating to newsracks.

6. Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 1984 at 7:45 p.m. to discuss Petition No. 400-193 submitted by Jack Jensen requesting that property located at 976 South 200 East known as Pioneer Trailer Park be rezoned from its present “R-6” to “C-3a”.

7. Ratify the action taken by the Council on July 10, 1984 wherein a resolution authorizing the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding between Salt Lake City Corporation and the Western Alliance of State, County and Municipal Employees was adopted.

NOTE: IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING THE CITY COUNCIL MEETING AND THE SCHEDULED REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY MEETING, THE COUNCIL WILL MEET AS THE COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE IN ROOM 211 TO DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING:
1. The board of the Salt Lake Area Community Councils will present a report to the Council.
2. The Parks Department will brief the Council on their request to purchase 45 additional golf carts for use on City golf courses.
