A. WORK SESSION: 5:30 p.m., Room 326, City & County Building, 451 South State Street
1. The Council will recognize the Fire and Police Dispatchers, and their supervisors, who were on duty at the beginning of the Trolley Square incident on Monday, February 12, 2007. The Council will receive a brief summary of events which occurred in the Fire and Police Dispatch Centers during the first few minutes of the incident. Each dispatcher will be introduced to the Council by their respective supervisors.
2. The Council will receive a presentation from Monica H. Callahan, Planning Director City of Madison Georgia, regarding Historic Preservation.
3. The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Geographic Information System (GIS).
4. The Council will receive a follow-up briefing regarding the City’s Development Review and Permitting Process (One Stop Shop).
5. (Tentative) The Council will receive comments from the Administration on Legislative Issues.
6. (Tentative) The Council will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session, in keeping with Utah Code, to discuss labor negotiations, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § § 52-4-204 and 52-4-205 (1)(b).
7. Report of the Executive Director, including review of Council information items and announcements.

OPENING CEREMONY:
The Council will consider adopting a joint
ceremonial resolution with the Mayor expressing opposition to the Divine Strake
testing at the Nevada Test Site.

1. Ordinance: Amend Certain Sections of Salt Lake City Code, Chapter 2.44 titled Conflict of Interest
Consider adopting an ordinance amending certain Sections of Chapter 2.44 of the Salt Lake City
Code relating to Conflict of Interest.

G. CONSENT:
1. Resolution: Set Date: Initiate Eminent Domain Proceedings
Set the date of March 13, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting a resolution initiating eminent domain proceedings regarding property affected by the establishment and operation of a public transit district.

2. Ordinance: Set Date: Downtown Master Plan Amendment and Urban Design Element
Set the date of March 20, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. to accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance to amend the Downtown Master Plan and the Urban Design Element pursuant to Petition No. 400-06-37 (City Creek Center).
