4b.   Consider and adopt a resolution authorizing the issuance and providing for the sale of $92,000 Special Assessment Bonds of Salt Lake City, Utah Special Improvement District, Curb and Gutter Extension No. 38-700, prescribing the form of bond and interest rates, maturity and denomination of said bonds; providing for the continuance of a guaranty fund as provided by statute; and providing when this resolution shall be in effect.

D.          CONSENT AGENDA

 

1.    Consider and adopt a resolution authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and the Utah Department of Transportation for construction of a railroad-highway safety project to provide flashing light signals with gates at 4800 West and 700 South.

2.    Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, September 11, 1984 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss an ordinance amending Title 41, Chapter 5 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, by amending Sections 41-5-1 through 41-5-26 and adding a new Section 41-5-27, 41-5-28, and 41-5-29, relating to excavation and obstruction.

3.    Set a date for a public hearing on Tuesday, August 14, 1984 at 6:40 p.m. to discuss the issuance of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds in the amount of $6,000,000 for the acquisition, improvement, furnishing and equipping of a commercial office and warehouse facility located at Centennial Park, to be owned by Duplex Products, Inc. for use in its business forms production and related purposes.

E.          UNFINISHED COUNCIL BUSINESS

 

1.    Consider and adopt an ordinance amending Chapter 16 of Title 20 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1965, relating to Secondhand and Junk Dealers, by amending Sections 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 and adding new Sections 13 and 14 thereto.

F.          PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

1.    6:15 p.m. - Consider and discuss Petition No. 400-53 submitted by M. Carl Larsen requesting the rezoning of property on the southwest corner of 8th South and West Temple from “R-6” and “B-3” classifications to a “C-3A” classification.

2.    6:30 p.m. - Consider and discuss Petition No. 400-191 submitted by Lancom, Inc. as agent for Vantage Corporation, requesting (1) approval for the relocation of the Salt Lake and Jordan Canal, (2) transfer to Vantage Corporation Salt Lake City’s interest in Parcel 34, and (3) vacation of Dresden Place.
