6. 100/200 Series Interview list

 

A.     City employees who apply for 100/200 Series internal job openings and meet the minimum qualifications must proceed through the selection process (tests, interviews, work demonstrations, questionnaires or other selection processes) before we can continue the recruiting process to external customers/agencies.  This provision does not apply to Civil Service positions in Fire and Police, since such positions must be announced publicly and tested competitively.

 

B.     Seasonal employees who have at least nine months of total service within the same City department,, and who have demonstrated successful performance and good work behavior, may apply as internal job candidates for 100 and 200 series positions in that department for positions up to and including the 116 and 216 pay levels.  Eligibility for seasonal applicants to apply will depend on prior written approval from the Hiring Authority.  When determining eligibility, the department shall consider such factors as attendance, specialized job knowledge or skills, and satisfactory job performance.
