A. Once the applications are screened for the minimum qualifications and, if necessary, further screened for future selection processes, Human Resources will electronically forward a list of the applications to the department hiring authority and to the Department PPA for either interviews or other selection processes by the department.
B. The department will have access to each application by clicking on the applicant name. If an individual is selected for an interview the department supervisor will indicate their selection by scrolling to the bottom of the application and indicating interview/not interviewed. (A message box will appear and the department hiring authority or PPA may document information regarding their selection).
C. Once the department hiring authority has selected the interview/testing group, the department hiring authority or PPA directs the electronic list back to the Human Resource Division by scrolling to the bottom of the list and selecting the “Notify H.R.” button. Again, a box will appear, and the department can provide Human Resources with information regarding those selected for interviews or other testing processes, as well as authorization to notify the applicants.
D. The Human Resource Division can notify the applicant(s) selected for interviews or other selection processes, or the department may call and schedule these. The Human Resource Division will also notify the applicants not meeting the minimum qualifications and those not selected for interviews or other further selection processes.
