City Council Announcements

April 20, 2004

A. Decisions, Feedback & Information needed by staff

Items 1-2 Carried over from April 13 Announcements:

1.    February Revenue Forecast (Eight Months Ending February 29, 2004)

Attached is the February revenue forecast for the period ending February 29, 2004. The revenue forecast for January indicated that the City would be approximately $10,500 in the hole at the end of the current fiscal year. This negative situation has been reversed; the current forecast is for the City to end the current fiscal year approximately $57,800 in the positive. Does the Council wish to discuss this forecast during a future Council Work Session?

Ms Gust-Jenson said staff had assumed the Council did not want a briefing until budget time.  The Council agreed that was correct

2.    Semi-Annual Legislative Intent and Department Balanced Scorecard Business Plan

Attached is the semi-annual report to the City Council on the FY 2004 Legislative Intent Statements and measurement data of the Balanced Scorecard Business Plan through December 2003. Does the Council wish to have staff prepare an analysis on this information for future discussion in a Council Work Session?

Ms Gust-Jenson said this issue would come to council as an updated version with the budget.  She said the six year plans would come after the budget.
