SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 56 of 2000
(Amending Ordinance No. 19 of 2000 Enacting a Temporary Moratorium Prohibiting Certain Development Activities in the Sugarhouse Area)
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE NO. 19 OF 2000 WHICH ENACTED A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM PROHIBITING CERTAIN DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES IN THE SUGARHOUSE AREA.
WHEREAS, on or about April 18, 2000, the Salt Lake City Council enacted Ordinance No. 19 of 2000 by which they enacted a temporary moratorium prohibiting certain development activities in the Sugarhouse area; and
WHEREAS, the boundaries of that temporary prohibition, as defined in Section 1.D of that ordinance, were identified in a map attached to the ordinance; and
WHEREAS, after further review, the City Council has determined that the boundaries of that moratorium should be revised to exclude certain properties;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah;
SECTION 1. Intent and Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance No. 19 of 2000.
SECTION 2. Amendment. Ordinance No. 19 of 2000 shall be and hereby is amended, such that the map attached to the ordinance shall be and hereby is replaced by the map attached hereto. The remainder of Ordinance No. 19 of 2000 remains in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.
