SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 53 of 2001

(An Ordinance Repealing Section 2.11.020,

2.11.030 and 2.11.040 of the Salt Lake City Code

Relating to Residency Requirements for Police Officers)

      AN ORDINANCE REPEALING SECTION 2.11.020, 2.11.030 AND 2.11.040 OF THE SALT LAKE CITY CODE, RELATING TO RESIDENCY REQUIREMENTS FOR POLICE OFFICERS.

      Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

      SECTION 1.  That Sections 2.11.020, 2.11.030 and 2.11.040 of the Salt Lake City Code, relating to residency requirements for police officers be and the same hereby is repealed.

      SECTION 2.  EFFECTIVE DATE.  This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its first publication.

      Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah this 5^th day of July, 2001.
