SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 22 of 2004

 

      AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SALT LAKE CITY ZONING CODE TO ALLOW FOR CARETAKER/SECURITY GUARD RESIDENCES IN MANUFACTURING ZONING DISTRICTS, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-03-04.

      WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Zoning Code currently allows for caretaker or security guard residences in manufacturing zoning districts, but only on lots at least four acres in size; and

      WHEREAS, after hearings before the Planning Commission and the City Council, the City Council has determined that the following amendments are in the best interest of the City;

      NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

      SECTION 1.  The Table of Permitted and Conditional Uses for Manufacturing Districts, located at Section 21A.28.040 of the Salt Lake City Code shall be and hereby is amended, in relevant part, to read as set forth on Exhibit A attached hereto.

      SECTION 2.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication.

      Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah this 1st day of June, 2004.
