SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 11 OF 2000

(Amending Salt Lake City Liquor Map)

 

      AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SALT LAKE CITY LIQUOR MAP NO. 19372, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-99-55.

      WHEREAS, Salt Lake City has previously adopted liquor map No. 19372 defining the requirements for various liquor related uses within a certain portion of the City; and

      WHEREAS, the City has received a petition requesting amendments to the liquor map in that portion of the City; and

      WHEREAS, the Salt Lake City Planning Commission has reviewed the petition and recommended that it be approved; and

      WHEREAS, the City Council believes that the proposed amendment is in the best interest of the City and its citizens.

      NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

      SECTION 1.  That the Salt Lake City Liquor Map No. 19372 shall be and hereby is amended to include all parcels which are zoned Commercial Corridor (CC) and which are located west of Interstate 215, east of the Salt Lake City International Airport, and north of Interstate 80, within Liquor District “A”, and to designate portions of 2200 West, North Temple, and 2400 West as major streets, as indicated by the map attached as Exhibit A to this Ordinance.

      SECTION 2.  Effective date.  This Ordinance shall be effective on the date of its first publication.

      Passed by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, this 21st day of March, 2000.
