SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE
No. 10 of 2004
(Vacating a portion of the Block 3 City Hall Subdivision)
AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THE BLOCK 3 CITY HALL SUBDIVISION, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-03-25.
WHEREAS, the City has received a petition to amend and vacate a portion of the Block 3 City Hall Subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and City Council have held public hearings concerning this petition; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that good cause exists for the vacation of the portion of that subdivision and that neither the public nor any person will be materially injured by the proposed vacation;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:
SECTION 1. The City hereby approves the proposed vacation of Lots 5 through 18 along with the closed alleyways of the Block 3 City Hall Subdivision, as more particularly described on Exhibit A attached hereto.
SECTION 2. Effective Date. This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
