SALT LAKE CITY ORDINANCE

No. 99 of 1999

 

(Rezoning property located at 1106 East 2700 South.)

 

      AN ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1106 EAST 2700 SOUTH FROM RMF-30 TO CN, PURSUANT TO PETITION NO. 400-98-24.

      WHEREAS, the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, has held public hearings before its own body and before the Planning Commission, and has taken into consideration citizen testimony, filing, and demographic details of the area, the long range general plans of the City, and any local master plan as part of its deliberations.  Pursuant to these deliberations, the City Council has concluded that the proposed change of zoning for the property located at 1106 East 2700 South is appropriate for the development of the community in that area.

      NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah:

      SECTION 1. That the property located at 1106 East 2700 South, which is more particularly described below, shall be and hereby is rezoned from RMF-30 to CN.  This real property is more particularly described as follows:

      Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot 9, Block 27, 10 Acre Plat A, Big Field Survey; thence South 199.65 feet; thence N29°51'02"E 118.23 feet; thence N37°36'21"E 69.45 feet; thence N37°08'29"E 53.17 feet; thence west 133.08 feet to the point of beginning.

 

      SECTION 2. Amendment of Zoning Map.  The Salt Lake City Zoning Map, as adopted by the Salt Lake City Code, relating to the fixing of boundaries and zoning districts, shall be, and hereby is amended consistent with the rezoning identified above.

      SECTION 3.  Amendment of Master Plan.  To the extent necessary, the Sugar House Community Master Plan, as previously adopted by the Salt Lake City Council, shall be, and hereby is amended consistent with the rezoning identified above.

      SECTION 4.  Effective Date.  This ordinance shall become effective on the date of its first publication and shall be recorded with the Salt Lake County Recorder.
