THE CITY COUNCIL OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8, 1987, AT 7:15 P.M. IN THE CITY COUNCIL OFFICE, SUITE 300, CITY HALL, 324 SOUTH STATE.
THE FOLLOWING COUNCIL MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: GRANT MABEY SYDNEY R. FONNESBECK EARL F. HARDWICK THOMAS M. GODFREY ROSELYN N. KIRK WILLIE STOLER.
Councilmember Bittner was absent. Mayor Palmer DePaulis, Roger Cutler, city attorney, Kathryn Marshall, city recorder, and Lynda Domino, chief deputy city recorder, were absent.
Council Chairperson Kirk presided at and conducted the meeting.

DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS
#1. RE: A motion authorizing the City Recorder to prepare an abstract of the votes cast in the primary election held Tuesday, October 6, 1987.
ACTION: Councilmember Mabey moved and Councilmember Hardwick seconded to convene as the Board of Canvassers and adopt a motion authorizing the City Recorder to prepare an abstract of the votes cast in the primary election held Tuesday, October 6, 1987, and recess the Board until the abstract is complete, which motion carried, all members present voted aye.
