THE CITY COUNCIL OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, MET IN SPECIAL SESSION ON MONDAY, MAY 4, 1987, AT 5:00 P.M. IN THE SALT LAKE CITY MUNICIPAL COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM, SUITE 300, CITY HALL, 324 SOUTH STATE.
THE FOLLOWING COUNCIL MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: SYDNEY R. FONNESBECK THOMAS M. GODFREY EARL F. HARDWICK ROSELYN N. KIRK.
Councilmembers Bittner, Mabey, and Stoler were absent.
Mayor Palmer Depaulis, Roger Cutler, city attorney, Kathryn Marshall, city recorder, and Lynda Domino, chief deputy city recorder, were also absent.
Council Chairperson Kirk presided at the meeting.
DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS
AIRPORT AUTHORITY
#1. RE: The issuance by Salt Lake City, Utah, of private activity revenue bonds for certain airport facilities to be operated by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
ACTION: Councilmember Godfrey moved and Councilmember Hardwick seconded to set a date for a public hearing to be held Tuesday, May 19, 1987, at 6:00 p.m. to obtain public comment concerning the proposed issuance by Salt Lake City, Utah, of private activity revenue bonds in the aggregate face amount of not to exceed $30 million to finance the acquisition and construction of certain airport facilities to be operated by Delta Air Lines, Inc., which will be erected at the Salt Lake City International Airport, and will be owned by the City and leased to the Company, which motion carried, all members present voting aye.

#1. RE: Industrial Development Revenue Bonds for Huish Chemical Project at 3540 West 1987 South.
ACTION: Councilmember Godfrey moved and Councilmember Hardwick seconded to set a date for a public hearing to be held Tuesday, May 19, 1987, at 6:00 p.m. to obtain public comment concerning the proposed issuance of up to $2 million of Industrial Development Revenue Bonds for Huish Chemical Project to be located at 3540 West 1987 South, which motion carried, all members present voting aye.
