PROCEEDINGS OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH

REGULAR AND COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 1988

 

The City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah, met in regular session on Thursday, February 4, 1988, at 5:45 p.m. in Suite 300, City Hall, 324 South State Street.

 

The following Council Members were present: Florence Bittner Thomas Godfrey Wayne Horrocks Roselyn Kirk Sydney Fonnesbeck Willie Stoler Alan Hardman.

 

Mayor Palmer DePaulis and Roger Cutler, city attorney, were present. Kathryn Marshall, city recorder, and Lynda Domino, chief deputy city recorder, were absent.

 

Council Chairperson Godfrey presided at and conducted the meeting.

 

DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS

MAYOR’S OFFICE

 

#1. RE: A resolution authorizing the issuance and sale of Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 1988, in an aggregate principal amount of $19,640,000.

 

ACTION: Councilmember Fonnesbeck moved and Councilmember Kirk seconded to adjourn as the City Council and convene as the Municipal Building Authority Board of Directors, which motion carried, all members voted aye except Councilmember Hardman who voted nay.

 

Councilmember Fonnesbeck moved and Councilmember Kirk seconded to adopt Resolution 11 of 1988 authorizing the issuance and sale of Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 1988, in an aggregate principal amount of $19,640,000, which motion carried, all members voted aye except Councilmember Hardman who voted nay.

 

Councilmember Fonnesbeck moved and Councilmember Kirk seconded to adjourn as the Municipal Building Authority Board of Directors and reconvene as the City Council, which motion carried, all members voted aye.

 

Councilmember Fonnesbeck moved and Councilmember Kirk seconded to adopt Resolution 12 of 1988 authorizing the issuance by the Municipal Building Authority of Salt Lake City, Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 1988, in an aggregate principal amount of $19,640,000 and approve the terms of said bonds, which motion carried, all members voted aye except Councilmember Hardman who voted nay.
