THE CITY COUNCIL OF SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH, MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 1984, AT 5:00 P.M. IN ROOM 211 CITY AND COUNTY BUILDING.
ON ROLL CALL THE FOLLOWING COUNCIL MEMBERS WERE PRESENT: RONALD J. WHITEHEAD EARL F. HARDWICK GRANT MABEY EDWARD W. PARKER SYDNEY R. FONNESBECK.
Councilmembers Shearer and Davis were absent from the meeting.
Council Chairperson Ronald Whitehead presided at and Councilmember Edward Parker conducted the meeting.
PETITIONS
Petition 1200-05 of 1983 by Donald R. LeBaron.
RE: An ordinance changing the name of Sperry Court as it lies between North Temple and 700 North to he known as Washington Street. This item was pulled from the agenda because of an error in the ordinance.

DEPARTMENTAL BUSINESS
PUBLIC WORKS
#1. RE: A resolution stating that the Board of Equalization and Review shall meet to hear and consider any objections to and make corrections in conjunction with Curb and Gutter Extension 38-700.
Councilmember Whitehead moved and Councilmember Mabey seconded to adopt Resolution 21 of 1984 stating that the Board of Equalization and Review, as required by law for Curb and Gutter Extension No. 38-700 of Salt Lake City, Utah, a municipal corporation of the State of Utah, shall meet on March 27 and 28, 1984, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. and between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on March 29, 1984 to hear and consider any objections to and make corrections of any proposed assessments which the said Board may deem unequal or unjust, in conjunction with the Special Improvement Tax proposed to be levied and assessed on the property within said Curb and Gutter Extension No. 38-700, which motion carried, all members present voting aye.

#2. RE: A resolution authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County for Salt Lake County to provide $60,000 for the Central City drainage master plan.
Councilmember Mabey moved and Councilmember Whitehead seconded to adopt Resolution 22 of 1984 authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement with Salt Lake County for the county to provide $60,000 to the city for the purpose of administering and engineering the Central City drainage master plan, project 47-0-1, which motion carried, all members present voting aye.
