Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the execution of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City and Salt Lake County for improvements at First Step House.

7. Resolution: Salt Lake Urban Search and Rescue Task Force

Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County approving participation in the Salt Lake Urban Search and Rescue Task Force.

8. Resolution: Joint Training of Firefighters

Consider adopting a resolution approving an amendment to the interlocal cooperation agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County for joint training of firefighters.

Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the execution of a well protection easement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Sandy City.

1. Motion: Speed Skating Oval

Consider adopting a motion requesting the Utah Sports Authority to extend negotiation time between the City and the Sports Authority for an ice oval on Block 49 by thirty days or until a decision regarding the feasibility of the Salt Palace as an Olympic speed skating oval site has been made, and the Council has been briefed on the Sports Authority’s finings.

Consider adopting a motion encouraging Salt Lake County to obtain public comment through a public hearing regarding the proposed Salt Palace Olympic speed skating oval site.

Consider adopting other motions relating to the speed skating oval site which arise as a result of discussions.
