Set a date for a public hearing to be held Tuesday, November 4, 1986, at 6:45 p.m. to obtain public comment concerning the amendment of the Fiscal Year 1986-87 Budget of Salt Lake City, Utah.

2.    Petition No. 400-446, Dan Lundergan.

Set a date for a public hearing to be held Tuesday, November 18, 1986, at 6:45 p.m. to obtain public comment concerning Petition No. 400-446 submitted by Dan Lundergan requesting that the east-west alley adjacent to his home at 926 McClelland Street be vacated.

3.    Case No. 629, Capitol Theatre; Exterior Remodel.

Set a date for a public hearing to be held Tuesday, November 4, 1986, at 7:20 p.m. to obtain public comment concerning the appeal of Planning Case No. 629, submitted by the Salt Lake County Public Works Department requesting permission for exterior remodeling of the Capitol Theatre.

E.          NEW COUNCIL BUSINESS:

 

1.    CDBG Allocation, Children’s Museum Request.

Consider adopting a motion allocating $11,000 of 12th Year Community Development Block Grant Contingency Funds for operating expenses to the Children’s Museum.

F.          UNFINISHED COUNCIL BUSINESS:

 

1.    Memorandum of Understanding, Police.

Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the execution of the Memorandum of Understanding between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake Police Association.

2.    Non-Contributory Retirement Plan, Creation.

Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the execution of documents providing for the conversion to the Public Employees Non-Contributory Retirement System and incorporating all terms and conditions of the Public Employees Noncontributory Retirement Act, 49-l0a-l, U.C.A., 1953.

3.    Holy Cross Hospital IRB.

A resolution of the City Council of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah amending resolution no. 117-86, which authorized the issuance and sale of Industrial Development Revenue bonds (Holy Cross Hospital of Salt Lake City), series 1986.

G.          PUBLIC HEARINGS:

 

1.    Sugar House Neighborhood Development Plan. - 6:00 p.m.

Obtain public comment during a joint hearing of the City Council and the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City concerning adoption of the Sugar House Neighborhood Development Plan, dated September 19, 1986; and consider adopting a resolution as the Redevelopment Agency Board of Directors providing for the Redevelopment Area and consider adopting an ordinance, as the City Council, of Salt Lake City, Utah, adopting the Sugar House Neighborhood Development Project Area Redevelopment Plan entitled, “Sugar House Neighborhood Development Plan”, dated September 19, 1986.

Staff Recommendation:         Close hearing. Adjourn as the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah. Reconvene as the Board of Directors of the Redevelopment Agency of Salt Lake City. Adopt resolution.
