A.  WORK SESSION: 3:00 p.m., Room 326, City & County Building, 451 South State Street 

(Please note:  Due to budget briefings the Council has added a fourth meeting during the
month of May.  No Public Comment period will be held, but one Unfinished Business item
will be discussed.)

1.     The Council will interview Joel Ban and Sherry Repscher prior to consideration of their appointments to the Transportation Advisory Board.

2.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor’s Recommended Budget relating to the Public Services Department for Fiscal Year 2007-2008

3.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor’s Recommended Budget relating to the Golf Fund for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

4.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor’s Recommended Budget relating to the Fleet Management Fund for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

5.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding the Mayor’s Recommended Budget relating to the Management Services Department, including Information Management Services (IMS) for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

6.     The Council will receive a briefing regarding Council Staff’s Revenue Forecast for the General Fund relating to the Mayor’s Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

7.     The Council will discuss Unresolved Budget issues relating to the Mayor’s Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2007-2008.

8.     The Council will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session, in keeping with Utah Code, to discuss labor negotiations, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § § 52-4-204 and 52-4-205 (1)(b).

9.     The Council will consider a motion to enter into Closed Session for the purpose of strategy to discuss the purchase, exchange, or lease of real property when public discussion of the transaction would disclose the appraisal or estimated value of the property under consideration or prevent the public body from completing the transaction on the best possible terms pursuant to Utah Code Ann.§ 52-4-204, 52-4-205(1)(d), and attorney-client matters that are privileged, pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 78-24-8.

Consider adopting resolutions initiating eminent domain proceedings regarding properties affected by the planned installation of an instrument landing system at the Tooele Valley Airport.
