 1. Ordinance: Set Date - Landfill Enterprise Fund

    Set date of July 5, 1994 at 6:05 p.m. to accept public comment and consider

    adopting an ordinance amending the Landfill Budget which was prepared and

    submitted by the Solid Waste Management Council, for calendar year 1994.

 2. Ordinance: Set Date - Petition Nos. 400-93-54 and 400-94-7 (Wingate Village

    Condominium Project)

    Set date of July 12, 1994 at 6:00 p.m. to accept public comment and consider

  adopting an ordinance to rezone a portion of property located at approximately

  449 N. Redwood Road from R-l to R-2A.

    4221 West 700 South.

    Set date of July 12, 1994 at 6:20 p.m. to accept public comment and consider

    amending an ordinance to allow child day care facilities as a conditional use in certain residential zoning districts; specifically at 581 North Redwood

 Road.

    Consider adopting an ordinance creating the Recreation Enterprise Fund

    Advisory Board.

 6. Resolution: Interlocal Cooperation Agreement Amendment (Salt Lake County)

    Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an Interlocal

    Cooperation Agreement Amendment between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County for an increase in the scope of work on the 2700 South storm drain

    system.

 7. Resolution: Interlocal Cooperation Aareement (Salt Lake County)

    Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the approval of an Interlocal

   Cooperation Agreement between Salt Lake City Corporation and Salt Lake County

   for the County to spray noxious weeds on City property at 600 South 4600 West

   and 1075 East 4788 South.

E. NEW BUSINESS:

 

 1. Ordinance: Open Containers (Salt Lake City Police Department)

    Consider adopting a proposed ordinance pertaining to unlawful consumption of

    an alcoholic beverage, opening a container of an alcoholic beverage, or

  possessing an open container of an alcoholic beverage, each in a public place.

 1. Resolution: Tax and Revenue Anticipate Notes, Series 1994

    Consider adopting a Resolution authorizing the issuance and confirming the

    sale of the $10,000,000 Tax and Revenue Anticipation Notes, Series 1994, of

 

 Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah; providing for covenants to establish

 and maintain the excludibility of interest on the Notes from gross income of

 the owners thereof for federal income tax purposes; and providing for related

 matters.

 2. Resolution: Municipal Building Authority Budget

  The City Council will convene as the Municipal Building Authority of Salt Lake

   City at their regular meeting place to consider approving a resolution

   adopting the budget of the Municipal Building Authority of Salt Lake City for

   fiscal year 1994-95.

 3.  Ordinance: 100 Series City Employees

  Consider adopting an ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding between

  Salt Lake City Corporation and the American Federation of State, County and

  Municipal Employees (AFSCME) representing the "100 Series" City employees.

Consider adopting an ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding between Salt Lake City Corporation and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) representing the "200 Series" City  employees.

    Consider adopting an ordinance approving the Compensation Plan for

    Professional Exempt and Non-Exempt Salt Lake City Corporation employees.

    Consider adopting an ordinance approving the Compensation Plan for Executive

    Consider adopting an ordinance approving a Memorandum of Understanding                       between Salt Lake City Corporation and the International Association of  Firefighters, Local 1645, representing the "400 Series" City employees.

 8. Ordinance: 500 Series City Employees

   Consider adopting an ordinance appropriating necessary funds,to implement for

   fiscal year 1994-5, the provisions of the Memorandum of Understanding between

  Salt Lake City Corporation and the Salt Lake Police Association, International

   Union of Police Associations, Local 75, AFL-CIO representing the 500 Series

   City employees.

 9. 1994-95 Revenue Enhancing Ordinances

Consider adopting a proposed revenue enhancing ordinance for Innkeeper License

 Tax Amendments relating to the Mayor's proposed budget for fiscal year

 Consider adopting a proposed revenue enhancing ordinance for Airport Parking

 Services License Tax relating to the Mayor's proposed budget for fiscal year

 Consider adopting a proposed revenue enhancing ordinance for Franchise Tax

 Amendment relating to the Mayor's proposed budget for fiscal year 1994-95.

  Consider adopting a motion approving Legislative Intent Statements relating to

    fiscal year 1994-95.

 11.Ordinance: Final Budget Adoption

    Consider adopting an ordinance which adopts the final budget and the

    employment staffing documents of Salt Lake City, Utah, excluding the budget

    for the Library Fund which is separately adopted, for the fiscal year

    beginning July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995.

 12.Ordinance: Final Library Fund Budget Adoption

    Consider adopting an ordinance which adopts the final budget for the Library

    Fund of Salt Lake City, Utah, for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994 and

    ending June 30, 1995.

 13.Ordinance: Tax Rate

    Consider adopting an ordinance which adopts the tax levy upon all real and

    personal property within Salt Lake City, Utah, made taxable by law for the

    fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994 and ending June 30, 1995.

13A.  Ordinance: Water Meter Minimum Charges and Rates

 Consider adopting an ordinance amending water meter minimum charges and rates.

 14. Resolution: Water and Sewer Revenue Bonds. Series 1994

 Consider adopting a resolution authorizing the issuance and confirming the sale of not more than $20,000,000 aggregate principal amount of water and sewer revenue bonds of Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, fixing the maximum aggregate principal amount of the bonds,the maximum number of years over which the bonds may mature, the maximum interest rate which the bonds may bear and the maximum discount from par at which the bonds may be sold; authorizing publication of a notice of bonds to be issued;expressing official intent regarding certain capital expenditures to be reimbursed from the proceeds of such bonds; authorizing the pledge of stormwater collection fees to secure payment of the City's water and sewer revenue bonds; and related matters.

 1. Resolution: Special Improvement District No. 40-R-19

 Accept public comment and consider adopting a resolution amending Salt Lake City, Utah Special Improvement District as described in the Resolution No. 21 of 1993, by adding Project Area 38-916 described as property bounded by and abutting Virginia Street in the Federal Heights neighborhood from the north side of South Temple to the north side of 11th Avenue.

 2. Ordinance: Petition No. 400-94-4 (Utah Non-Profit Housing)

 Accept public comment and consider adopting an ordinance rezoning property at the northwest corner of 800 South 800 East to provide for a density bonus for elderly housing.
